More body lovin’ homework from Medicinal Marzipan today. Are you taking part? Even unofficially? You should. Today’s assignment: Keep a daily gratitude list, writing down THREE to FIVE things that you are grateful every night before you go to sleep.
I did this for several nights. Some of the things I came up with seem so mundane, I hesitate to write them. But in the interest of honesty, I am grateful for…
- my two little boys. They make my world complete.
- having a husband that can do/fix anything.
- my health. Despite how I’ve sometimes treated myself, I am in great health.
- a healthy, happy marriage. We don’t fight; we bicker. We’ve got it very good.
- being in less pain today than I was yesterday.
- fresh strawberries.
- friends that build me up, both in person and online.
- feeling pretty.
- being happy with myself.
- not having money woes.
- sunshine and a light breeze.
- finally making peace with myself.
- walking four miles on the canal with no pain.
There you have it, my incredibly random list of things I am grateful for. What are you grateful for?

i'm grateful for the knowledge of how to keep myself healthy (even though i don't always put it into practice)
I love your list…and to me they are not mundane things.
I am grateful for family and friends, and knowing how to get my weight under control and doing something about it.
