How is already time for this? I’m not ready yet!!! But, time and tide and all that, so…

Starting weight: 139

Current weight: 138.5

Total loss: .5

Salad-A-Day: 6/30

Walking 30 minutes per day: 5/30

New exercise/activity: 0/1

I’m okay with that. It’s been (slightly) less than a week, the weather has been shite, and I’m having serious, serious sleep issues. The fact that I’m not curled up under a blanket on the couch with a jar of peanut butter and a spoon is a serious win in my book.

My plan for the coming week? Move more, eat as healthfully as I can, sleep. And you?

    I hate nights when my brain just won’t shut off but no blanket and Peanut Butter for you! Great job with the loss no matter how much it is and you have a plan for next week so good for you.

      Thanks, Adah! I must admit, if I’d been on my own I probably would have gone the peanut butter route :) Knowing that I had a partner out there expecting me to get it right helped a lot!

    You did great! Hopefully you’ll get some sleep this week. I’m looking forward to school letting out so I can sleep in a little next week. Of course that means the kids will be up even earlier than usual, right?

      It amazes me how they KNOW! School days I have to push and pull and cajole them out of bed. Weekends and vacations, they’re up by 6!

    Good job on that salad a day. I looked at it but knew that just wouldn’t fly. maybe one day I’ll try it. 1/2 loss for just 4 days is pretty awesome.

    My daughter is having sleep issues. She’s giving melatonin a try to see if that helps her.
